Brandmeester’s
is the most complete retail concept in specialty coffee in The Netherlands.
We have been acclaimed by international coffee journals for being the
first blossoming of a new trend in the specialty coffee and tea trade
in the Netherlands. Brandmeester’s is member of the specialty coffee
organizations SCAA and SCAE.
Since
its establishment in 1994 Brandmeester’s is specialist in
roasting the best quality Arabica beans and espresso blends. A wide selection
of single origin coffees from around the world is roasted on a daily
basis in stores in Amsterdam and Haarlem. For lovers of superior coffee
(and for coffee connoisseurs who have never seen the actual process of
roasting coffee) our stores are worth a visit; not just for the wonderful
aroma of freshly roasted coffee that perfumes the interiors.
Here
in our stores clients experience how the best Arabica beans from around
the world are meticulously roasted to their peak shade and
flavour; single origins from Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala,
India, Indonesia, Kenya, Papua New Guinea and other specialty coffees.
At regular intervals our roastmasters will also roast Grand Cru coffees
from Jamaica Blue Mountain and Puerto Rico. |

The
selected coffees are roasted daily in small batches in order to achieve
the best slow-roasting coffee characteristics and in order to serve
and deliver the freshest qualities to you. Our roasters are not computer
controlled, but hand driven & regulated by our senses: the eyes,
the ears and noses of our skilled roastmasters.
It’s
like soccer: a goal is scored through speed, skill and a certain amount
of luck. The best goal however is scored through a combination of skill,
passion and intuition. At Brandmeester’s, this is how we roast
specialty coffee. A chef of a quality restaurant would call it haute
cuisine. Indeed the plate prepared by a passionate chef in a small
restaurant will taste far more better than the food served in an eating
house or family diner. Brandmeester’s is the difference between
mass food and haute cuisine.

We recognize that Arabica coffee is like wine; that the terroir of
the coffees we roast will offer our clients a wide variety of taste
profiles to suit everybody’s taste, every occasion and equipment.
Since superior coffee depends on the qualities of brewing,
Brandmeester's offers the required (barista) tools for
preparing the best coffee, espresso, cappuccino and cafè
latte. Brandmeester’s
is the expert dealer of espresso equipment and offers the greatest
variety in espresso machines and accessories. In our fully equipped
demo-studio our knowledgeable staff is happy to demonstrate all machines
to the customer with no

to buy.
In the espresso bar, Brandmeester’s baristi pull the freshest
shots of espresso and serve the smoothest cappuccinos.
Here clients
also savour numerous specialty teas and tisanes. Brandmeester’s
offers a fine selection of original teas and tisanes from the best
estates and gardens around the world, hand blended and hand packed.
All three stores in Amsterdam, Haarlem and Utrecht also
offers a wide selection of fine teas and tisanes and all accessories
for preparing these products.
